I haven't updated my blog for a while because nothing exciting has been happening, i had bloggers block for a while. well finally some good news to share! Matthew and I sold my old Chrysler and got me a 2003 Saturn L200, it's white, it's in great shape and we got it for such a great deal! i'm so excited about it. we can't wait to take it on a road trip! YAY!
Other good news! Matthew has been searching for a job for almost a year now and hasn't had any luck. well, you know what they say it's feast or famine right. after a year of famine, bring on the feast. he now has 3 jobs! all part time of course so he has time to juggle them all! but he is really excited about all 3 of them! the first one is at the Olive Garden as a server! he has already begun training and is loving it. he will be working at the new one over by the Valley Fair mall. it opens on the 16th!
His second job he got is for a company called Rise. Our friends work for rise doing foster care, and these kids need a little extra attention, so when foster parents need someone to watch the kids, so they can go out of town or on a date or something they need someone to do Advising (babysitting kind of) for their kids. They can't leave them with just anyone. So Matthew is going to be an advisor, he will get to take the kids out to do all sorts of fun things like bowling, arcade, out to dinner and a movie. etc! so much fun! he's really looking forward to it!
and Third, he got hired on at a Nursery! he has such a green thumb, he's always talking about planting trees and the kinds he would like to plant and stuff. so this job sounds like so much fun for him! He is so excited! but this job will probably be the one he won't be able to do if they don't all work with his schedule. it's only seasonal though, so hopefully he can swing them all! :) so finally and update on our lives!
